What is Endorsement of Certificate of Origin?

Johor Bahru Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry is one of the organizations given by the authority to authenticate Certificate of Origin by Malaysian Governments. Certificate of Origin is one of the documents which certified to the best of our Chamber knowledge and belief that all the goods state in document were produced in Malaysia or other countries (for re-export only), and this endorsement is without any prejudice.

The Company which is first time applies Non Preferential Certificate of Origin shall enclose and submit a complete NPCO form and attached the following documents for endorsement:-

1. Manufacturer (Made in Malaysia)

• Invoice to customer
• Packing List to customer
• Bill of Lading
• Custom Form K2
• EDI Receipt from Custom
• sample/ picture/ catalogue (if needed)

2. Trader (Made in Malaysia)

• Invoice to customer
• Packing List to customer
• Bill of Lading
• Custom Form K2
• EDI Receipt from Custom
• Certificate from manufacturer for its manufactured product (for exporter/trader)
• sample/ picture/ catalogue (if needed)

3. Re-export

• Invoice to customer
• Packing List to customer
• Bill of Lading
• Custom Forms K2
• EDI Receipt from Custom
• Original copy of Certificate of Origin from Country Origin
• Custom Form K1
• Manufacturer/ Supplier's Invoice and Packing List
• sample/ picture/ catalogue (if needed)

4. Goods Direct Export from second country to third country

• Invoice to Customer
• Packing List to Customer
• Original copy of Certificate of Origin from Country Origin
• Manufacturer/ Supplier's Invoice and Packing List
• sample/ picture/ catalogue (if needed)

Note :

1. Original copy of Certificate of Origin that must be finished all particulars and every copy of Certificate of Origin must be endorsed with the company's rubber stamp and signed by an authorized official of the applicant company.

2. A copy of the original documents or photocopy documents that is certified as true copy by authorized official of the applicant company (Signature & Company's rubber stamp)

3. JBCCCI will retain an original copy of NPCO for filing purpose.

Servicing charges of Non Preferential Certificate of Origin and NPCO Form (start at 1st June 2008):

Please be informing that the Company which involved in fraudulent act will be blacklisted for one year by MITI.? MITI will also inform all Chamber of Commerce and trade association on the particular blacklisted company‘s information.
